12 manicotti shells
1 pound ground beef or turkey (plant-based for vegetarian option)
2 cups ricotta cheese

2 cups marinara sauce (homemade or store-bought)
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 large egg, beaten

Instructions
Cook the manicotti shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, ricotta cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, beaten egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well until fully incorporated.
Carefully stuff each manicotti shell with the meat and cheese mixture using a spoon or piping bag.
Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish. Arrange the stuffed shells in a single layer and cover with remaining marinara sauce.
