1 cup warm milk (about 110°F)
¼ cup honey
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon salt
1 large egg
Warm the milk to about 110°F. Combine the warm milk and yeast in a bowl, let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
Add honey, melted butter, salt, and egg to the yeast mixture. Mix well and gradually add flour, one cup at a time.
Transfer dough to a floured surface and knead for 6-8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
