1 loaf of Italian bread (or French bread)
1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
4 tablespoons of unsalted butter, softened
4 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tablespoon of fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried parsley)
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: Slices of tomatoes or jalapeños for extra flavor
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and slice the loaf of Italian bread in half lengthwise.
In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Spread the garlic butter mixture generously over the cut sides of the bread.
