1 lb fresh crab meat (preferably lump)
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup breadcrumbs (Panko for extra crunch)
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning (or to taste)
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and grated Parmesan. Blend until smooth. Add in the Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, fresh lemon juice, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, and season with salt and pepper.
Gently fold in the fresh crab meat, being careful not to break it up too much.
Scoop about 2 tablespoons of the mixture and shape it into a ball. Place each crab bomb on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Sprinkle remaining breadcrumbs on top and drizzle with olive oil.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, until the tops are golden and crispy.
