Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups of graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup of unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar
  • 4 (8 oz) packages of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 4 large apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • ¾ cup of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 cup of rolled oats
  • ½ cup of flour
  • ½ cup of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • ½ cup of unsalted butter, melted

  • Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Stir until the mixture resembles wet sand. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan, ensuring it’s evenly distributed. Bake for about 10 minutes until set and lightly golden.
  • While the crust is baking, use an electric mixer to blend the softened cream cheese and sugar in a large bowl. Mix on medium speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Finally, mix in the vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg until fully incorporated.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the sliced apples, brown sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Stir until the apples are evenly coated. Pour the cheesecake filling over the prepared crust, followed by the apple mixture evenly distributed on top.
  • In another mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter. Stir these ingredients until crumbly. Sprinkle this topping over the apple mixture, creating an even layer across the top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 50 minutes or until the center is set. The top should be golden and bubbly. Once out of the oven, allow the cheesecake to cool at room temperature for about 1 hour. Then, refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, before serving to achieve the best texture and flavor.
