  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)

  • Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Mix well. Add warmed milk, melted butter, and eggs, mixing until blended. Gradually add the remaining flour until a soft dough forms.
  • Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place it in a greased bowl, cover it with a towel, and let it rise until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
  • In a separate bowl, mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, and crumbled bacon. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread the filling evenly over the dough.
  • Starting from the long side, tightly roll the dough into a log. Slice into 12 rolls and place them in a greased baking dish. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
